Anthony Di Sanza, an active international performer and educator, has performed, presented master classes, and held residencies in North America, Europe and Asia. Active in a wide variety of Western and non-Western percussive areas, Di Sanza can be heard on numerous CD recordings with various artists and his solo CD featuring works for multiple percussion, marimba and darabukka will be released in the summer of 2007 on the Equilibrium label. He currently holds the position of principal percussionist with the Madison Symphony Orchestra and has premiered over 30 compositions by composers worldwide. Anthony has compositions published by Alfred and HoneyRock and has a new book to be published by RGM.

Anthony earned the Bachelor of Music Education degree from Youngstown State University, and holds Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in percussion performance from the University of Michigan. Currently Associate Professor of Percussion at the University of Wisconsin Madison, he oversees all aspects of the percussion program.
