1) Warranty Coverage
The following Limited Lifetime Warranty applies from the date of purchase and solely to the original purchaser of the instrument:
Black Swamp Percussion warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and conditions. Black Swamp will repair defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period or until the product is discontinued. If repair is not possible, Black Swamp will exchange the defective product with a new or refurbished product at no charge. Return shipping fees may apply.
2) Warranty Exclusions
Normal wear and tear, modifications, misuse, or abuse
Improper or inadequate maintenance or care
Damages incurred during transportation
3) Claim Procedure
Contact Black Swamp Percussion via the warranty and repair request form found on our website. Proof and date of purchase from an authorized Black Swamp retailer is required for warranty repair. Prior to receipt of the instrument, photos/videos will be requested by Black Swamp to inspect for warranty consideration and repair. Return instructions will include a Return Authorization (RA) number. Include the RA number on all packages and correspondence. Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the purchaser.
4) Out of Warranty Solutions
Replacement cable snare wires: Black Swamp offers replacement snare units for every model of BSP drum currently offered. You can view all replacement parts for your drum, here. If your model drum is discontinued, Black Swamp can make you a custom replacement cable or find you a comparable option. Please contact us directly via our website.
Replacement Hardware: Black Swamp offers replacement hoops, lugs, tension rods, and miscellaneous strainer repair parts. Please contact us directly via our website.
Repair Evaluation: If you have an older instrument that is out of warranty we offer a repair evaluation service for $25 + shipping/handling. This evaluation gives a total breakdown of the repairs needed and their estimated costs. If you choose to proceed with the repair, the $25 service fee will be applied to the total.

Can I buy a Multisonic or SoundArt strainer separately?
No. Our Multisonic and SoundArt strainers are only available on Black Swamp snare drums.
